Grzegorz Stopa (Austrija / Austria)

Gžegož Stopa (rođen 1973. u Poljskoj), studirao je na Muzičkoj akademiji F. Šopen u Varšavi i, kao stipendista DAAD na Folkwang Hochschule u Esenu u klasi prof. Mie Miki. Osvojio je prve nagrade i postigao plasman u finale na 12 internacionalnih i nacionalnih muzičkih takmičenja (uključujući Tokio, Varšavu, Klingental, Kastelfidardo) i priredio solističke nastupe na Mecklenburg-Vorpommern festivalu (Soloists of the Young Elite), Asahi Beer Lobby Concerts (Japan) i u Great Hall of the Wiener Musikverein. Internacionalna solistička i kamerna koncertna aktivnost dovela je do nastupa na priznatim festivalima kao što su Bachfest, Beethovenfest, Wien Modern i drugi. Bavi se različitim muzičkim epohama, interdisciplinarnim projektima i sarađivao je sa kompozitorima: Aho, D’Ase, Gubajdulina, Kesler, Koh, Nomura, Rim, Spasov, Tomas i Šlingenzipen. Nastupao je sa ansamblima nove muzike (die reihe, notabu.ensemble neue musik) i sa orkestrima (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra). Predaje na Arosa Music Academy u Švajcarskoj i održava međunarodne majstorske kurseve. Često je pozivan u stručne žirije na internacionalnim takmičenjima za harmoniku.
Profesor Gžegož Stopa je osnovao i podučavao dvije međunarodne klase harmonike: na Univerzitetu Muzike i Umjetnosti grada Beča (Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna) od 2005. godine, i na Muzičkom Univerzitetu u Detmoldu (Detmold University of Music) od 2009. do 2019. godine. Njegova klasa akordeonista jedna je od najuspješnijih na svijetu, njegovi studenti često osvajaju međunarodna akordeonistička takmičenja (uključujući Arrasate i Klinghental), kao i istaknuta interdisciplinarna muzička takmičenja, muzičke i kulturne nagrade u Evropi, Americi i Aziji. Neki od njegovih studenata predaju na evropskim i azijskim muzičkim univerzitetima. Gžegož Stopa je 2012. godine postao počasni profesor na Muzičkom Univerzitetu u Detmoldu, a 2018. godine postao je gostujući profesor na Muzičkom Konzervatorijumu u Tijanćinu (Conservatory of Music in Tianjin) u Kini.

Grzegorz Stopa (born 1973 in Poland), studied at the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw and as a DAAD scholarship holder at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen with Prof Mie Miki. He won first prizes or reached the finals of 12 international and national music competitions (including Tokyo, Warsaw, Klingenthal, Castelfidardo) and gave solo debuts at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival („Soloists of the Young Elite“), Asahi Beer Lobby Concerts (Japan) and in the Great Hall of the Wiener Musikverein. International concert activities as a soloist and chamber musician took him to well known music festivals such as the Bachfest, Beethovenfest, Wien Modern and others. He is engaged with various musical style epochs, interdisciplinary projects and worked with composers such as Aho, D’Ase, Gubaidulina, Kessler, Koch, Nomura, Rihm, Spassov, Thomas and Schlingensiepen. He played in ensembles for new music (die reihe, notabu.ensemble neue musik) and with orchestras (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra). He is also a professor at the Arosa Music Academy (Switzerland) and other international masterclasses. He is frequently acts as a juror at international accordion competitions.
Professor Grzegorz Stopa has already established and taught two international accordion classes: at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (since 2005) and at the Detmold University of Music (2009-2019). His accordion class is one of the most successful in the world, with his students and graduates regularly winning international accordion competitions (including in Arrasate and Klingenthal) as well as prominent interdisciplinary music competitions, music and cultural awards in Europe, America and Asia. Some of his graduates already teach at European and Asian music universities. In 2012, Grzegorz Stopa was awarded the title of „Honorary Professor“ at the Detmold University of Music and in 2018 the title of „Guest Professor“ at the Conservatory of Music in Tianjin (China).
