Aleksandar SERDAR, rođen u Beogradu, odakle posle završenih studija u Novom Sadu nastavlja dalje školovanje u Sjedinjenim državama i Italiji. Na njegovu pijanističku formaciju su uticali tokom godina pre svega, Sergio Perticaroli i Leon Fleisher. Kao logičan put mladog pijaniste, Aleksandar Serdar je učestvovao na brojnim internacionalnim takmicenjima gde je dobio visoke nagrade. Najznačajnija od njih su svakako Arthur Rubinstein u Tel Aviv-u, Monza-Rina Salla Galo, Vercelli, Carlo Zechhi, koji su doveli do razvoja njegove internacionalne karijere. Aleksandar Serdar je svirao resitale i sa orkestrom u skoro svim zemljama Evrope, u severnoj Americi, Brazilu i Peruu, Maroku, Libanu, Izraelu, Tajldandu i Japanu.Svirao je sa filharmonijama Beograda, Bremena, Sofije, Zagreba, Torina, Minhena, Tuluza, Lila, San Hozea, Haife, Slovenije, Drezdena. Sa dirigentima kao sto su Jean-Claude Casadesus, Jorg Peter Weigle, Emil Tabakov, Mendi Rodan, Marcello Viotti, Michael Plason. U poslednjih nekoliko godina brojni uspesi na koncertima u Evropi su privukli pažnju kritičara i organizatora koncertnih sezona i festivala. Sa podjendakim entuzijazmom je svirao u koncertnim dvoranama kao sto su Theatre Chatelet, Auditorium du Louvre, Tonhalle in Zurich, Alice Tully hall in New Yorks Lincoln Center, and Festivals such as “La Roque d’Antheron, Folles Journeaus in Nantes, Sully sur Loire, St. Riquier, Schleasu Holstein in Hamburg, Montpellier Festival of Radio France. Aleksandar Serdar je snimio svoj prvi kompakt disk za diskografsku kucu EMI koji je dobio izvanredne kritike muzičkih časopisa. Dupli disk Aleksandra Serdara snimljen je u Luksemburgu uorganizaciji Luksemburske banke i drustva Burleska . Aleksandar Serdar je izdao svoj prvi kompakt disk za PGP diskografsku kuću u Srbiji sa baroknim repertoarom. “Aleksandar Serdar je svakako svestan pijanista sa imaginacijom i ličnošću”. Od 2006 godine, radi kao profesor po pozivu na fakultetu umetnosti u Nišu. Aleksandar Serdar učestvuje kao član žirija u radu brojnih nacionalnih i internacionalnih žirija. Aleksandar Serdar 2007 godine izdaje svoj drugi kompakt disk za PGP. 2012 godine Aleksandar Serdar izdaje svoj priručnik pod nazivom “Razvoj pijanističke tehnike” u izdanju Muzičkog centra Crna Gora, a 2014 godine izdaje CD sa delima Petra Iljiča Čajkovskog u izdanju MC Crna Gora.

Aleksandar SERDAR was born in 1967 in Belgrade, Serbia. He graduated in 1988 from the “Art Acadmy of Novi Sad” , and received in 1992 his Master of Music at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore where he studied with Leon Fleisher for five years. Later he continued studies with Sergio Perticaroli at the Academy of Santa Ceilia in Rome. Aleksandar Serdar won several international awards including Monza, Carlo Zecchi, Vercelli-Italy, Palm Beach and Cincinnati in the USA , Arthur Rubinstein in Tel Aviv (4th prize). He played in Italy (Conservatory hall in Milano, Palermo, Venezia, Roma, Bari,Trento, Reggio, Torino),Unoted States (namely Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center in New York, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Washington DC), France (Paris-Musee d’Orsay,Auditorium du Louvre, Theatre du Chatelet, Nice, Lion, Orleon, Marseil, Toulouse, and Festivals such as La Roque d’Antheron, Sully sur Loire, St.Riquier, Piano Jacobin, Radio France Montpelier), Switzerland (at the prestigious Zurich Tonehalle), Russia (at the Saint Peterbourg festival and Moscow), Israel, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia (in Ljubljana, Bled Festival, Celje, Gorizia), Croatia (Zagreb and Dubrovnik Summer Festival), Brazil, Peru, Portugal (Lisabon festival Folles Journeaus),Maroco, Lebanon (Bustani Festival in Beirut),Thailand, Japan,Canada,Luxembourg, Germany (Munich, Nurmberg, Hamburg-Schwlesi Holstain festival, ). Aleksandar Serdar played with such orchestras as the Dresden Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic, Bremen Philharmonic, Slovenian Philharmonic, Sophia Philharmonic, San Jose Philharmonic, Cincinnati Philharmonic, Orchestre National de Lille, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Belgrade Philharmonic, Zagreb Philharmonic, Athens Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, Vancouver Island Symphony, Saint Peterbourg Philharmonic, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Orcestra of Santa Cecilia, Haifa Sympohony Orchestra, Santiago Symphony Orchestra, Saint Petersburg orchestra and conductors such as Marcello Viotti, Erich Kunzel, Leonid Grin, Emil Tabakov, Mendi Rodan, Jean-Claude Casadesus, Milan Natchev, Jeansuk Kahidze, Daniel Raiskin. Serdar’s CD,released by EMI Classics, in 1998 arouse strong interest from promoters and the press. He has recorded a 3 CD’s for the Serbian discographic house PGP with Barock repertoire, Tchaikovsky works and Chopin.
