Ladislav Horak – Češka Republika (*1966) je diplomirao na Praškom Konzervatorijumu i Univerzitetu Zapadne Bohemije u Plzenju (u klasi prof. Jaroslava Vlaha). Tokom studija, osvojio je nacionalno takmičenje u Horovicu (1990) i uspješno nastupio na međunarodnim takmičenjima u Andori, Italiji i Španiji (1987 – 1990). Nastupa kao solista, član kamernog ansambla i solista sa orkestrom (Seoul Philharmonic Južna Koreja, Eskisehir Metropolitan Orchestra Turska, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic, North Bohemia Philharmonic, Prague Philharmonia, Suk Chamber Orchestra) i redovno učestvuje na prestižnim festivalima u Americi, Aziji i širom Evrope. Premijerno je izveo djela savremenih Čeških (Vaclav Trojan, Petr Fiala, Jirži Teml, Pavel Trojan) i stranih kompozitora, koje je snimio za Češke i međunarodne radio stanice. Njegova izdavačka kuća Edition Rondo Prague objavila je desetine CD-ova. Predstavlja Češku akordeonističku školu u internacionalnim organizacijama kao predsjednik stručnog žirija na internacionalnim takmičenjima (Castelfidardo, Innsbruck, Klingenthal, Mons, Pula, Trossingen). Umjetnički je direktor festivala International Accordion Days u Pragu. Od 1990. predaje na Praškom Konzervatorijumu, a od 2005. postaje zamjenik direktora. Po pozivu održava majstorske kurseve u Andori, Kastelfidardu, Madeiri, Lođu (Poljska), Budimpešti, Arhausu (Danska), Stokholmu, Litvaniji i Stajnhart Univerzitetu u Nju Jorku (Steinhardt University, New York). Prvi je Čeh koji je osvojio Zaslužnu nagradu od strane Svjetske organizacije akordeonista (World Accordion Association C.I.A.) u 2023. godini.

Ladislav Horák – Czech Republic Ladislav Horák (*1966) is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory and the West Bohemia University in Plzeň (by prof. Jaroslav Vlach). While still a student, he won the national competition in Hořovice (1990) and garnered successes at international competitions in Andorra, Italy and Spain (1987–1990). He performs as a soloist, chamber player and accompanied by orchestras (Seoul Philharmonic South Korea, Eskisehir Metropolitan Orchestra Turkey, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic, North Bohemia Philharmonic, Prague Philharmonia, Suk Chamber Orchestra) and has regularly appeared at prestigious festivals in America, Asia and throughout Europe. He is a champion of and has given premieres of pieces by contemporary Czech (tribute to Václav Trojan, Petr Fiala, Jiří Teml, Pavel Trojan) and foreign composers, which he has recorded for Czech and international radio stations. His label Edition Rondo Prague has released a dozen CDs. He represents the Czech accordion school in international organizations and as a chairman of juries of international competitions (Castelfidardo, Innsbruck, Klingenthal, Mons, Pula, Trossingen). He is artistic director of the festival International Accordion Days in Prague. Since the 1990s, he has taught at the Prague Conservatory, since 2005 he was deputy director. He has been invited to lead accordion master classes in Andorra, Castelfidardo, Madeira, Lodz (Poland) and Budapest, Aarhus (Denmark), Stockholm, Lithuanien and the Steinhardt University in New York. In 2023 he was the first Czech to receive the Merit Award from the World Accordion Association C.I.A.
