VLADIMIR MANDIĆ, Srbija

Vladimir Mandić je rođen 1965. godine u Kragujevcu, gde je pohađao osnovnu i srednju muzičku skolu u klasi profesora Radomira Tomića. Kao učenik, osvajao je nagrade na republičkim takmičenjima, susretima harmonikasa u Puli, a kao član kamernog ansambla  na saveznom takmičenju. Muzičko obrazovanje nastavlja na Konzervatorijumu u Kijevu, u klasi profesora Panjkova Valerija Sergijeviča, a završava ga uz nagradu za maksimalan uspeh. Po završenom fakultetu kraće vreme radi u muzičkoj školi “Jovan Bandur” u Pančevu, a od 1993 neprekidno je profesor muzičke škole ”Dr. Miloje Milojević” u Kragujevcu. Sa muzičkom školom “Stevan Mokranjac u Kraljevu ga vezuje  honorarna saradnja od preko trinaest godina. Kao pedagog, profesor Mandić je uglavnom fokusiran na rad sa mladim akordeonistima u srednjoškolskom uzrastu i sa brojnim učenicima osvaja niz nagrada na međunarodnim takmičenjima za harmoniku (Kligental, Svetski Kup, Svetski Trofej). Na republičkim takmičenjima u Srbiji i drugim tamičenjima u zemlji i okruženju, i  u kategoriji harmonike i u konkurenciji kamernih sastava, učenici profesora Mandića dobijaju brojne nagrade i zvanja laureata, a učenici studiraju na najprestižnijim visokim školama za harmoniku u inostranstvu i kod nas. Više puta član žirija međunarodnih takmičenja (Svetski Kup,Svetski Trofej), takmičenja u okruženju, kao i domaćih takmičenja (uključujući i republičko takmičenje). Držao je seminare i masterclass-ove u zemlji i inostranstvu, a radio je i kao predavač na Muzičkom odseku Novog Bugarskog Univerziteta u Sofiji. Sem pedagoškog rada, u profesionalnom fokusu Vladimira Mandića su transkripcije za harmoniku dela klasičnog muzičkog nasledja, kao i kamerna muzika, koja se oslanja na harmoniku.

Vladimir Mandić (1965) was born in Kragujevac, Serbia, where he attended Elementary Music School and made first steps in accordion playing. In High Music School, he became a student of Mr. Radomir Tomić, probbably the most significant accordion teacher in that time and key man to bring serbian accordion school so many success. Durring the High school years, Vladimir took part in many accordion competitions in former Yugoslavia, both as soloist and as a member of chamber groups and won many prizes. Next step in his education was Kiev Conservatory”Tchaikovsky”,where he studied in a class of docent Valery Sergeyevitch Pankov. That educational period was a turning point for him as a accordionist and musician, so after five years of studying, Vladimir finished Conservatory accordion performing and teaching course with a special “Red Diploma with honours” merit which was given only for superb students. Next, teaching period, he begin in 1991, when he started his work in city of Pančevo Music School, but after two years, free vacance in his “Alma mater”, Elementary and High Music School in Kragujevac, took him to his hometown. Very soon, his work with students was broadly recognized, for distinct playing and musical approach, so after a short time, Vladimir became one of the most successful accordion teachers in Serbia. His students took part in countless competitions in Serbia and abroad and won many prizes. Especially valuable are prizes won in most significant international concourses, such as Trophee Mondiale, Coup Mondiale, Kligenthal, etc. Vladimir Mandic is often a member of jury, not only in accordion competitions, but, also in chamber music competitions. Today, his point of interests, besides accordion pedagogy, are transcription of classical music for accordion and chamber music for accordion and other instruments.  Recently, Vladimir Mandic started a new job in Musical Department of New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria, as a guest lecturer.
