Melita Čičić (1965, Teslić), školovala se u Republici Hrvatskoj, Bosni i Hercegovini i Srbiji. Diplomorala tri odsjeka na Muzičkoj Akademiji u Sarajevu i stekla stručno zvanje profesora harmonike, profesora teoretsko-pedagoških muzičkih predmeta i akademski muzičar-dirigent. Tokom školovanja, kontinuirano se takmičila na eks Republičkim, Jugoslovenskim te Internacionalnim takmičenjima, prilikom cega je dobitnica specijalnih nagrada/ laureat. Kao solista učestvovala je na mnogobrojnim koncertima diljem eks YU, a najznačajniji su u Zagrebu (dvorana“ Lisinski“), u Ljubljani i Berlinu. Snimala za RTV Zagreb te RTVBiH. .Autor je zbirke dječjih pjesama „Razbibriga“, kao i albuma zabavne muzike. Za orkestar klasične harmonike orkestrirala je više od 35 kompozicija. Za harmoniku je aranžirala i snimila muziku za pozorisnu predstavu „La Strada“, autora prof. dr. Ivana Čavlovića. Dirigovala tri koncerta sa Sarajevskom filharmonijom u Tuzli i Sarajevu, te simfonijskim orkestrom Srednje muzičke škole Sarajevo.Orkestrirala kompozicije za zajedničko izvođenje orkestra harmonika i simfonijskog orkestra. Višegodišnji je dirigent Slovenačkog zbora „Camerata“ u Sarajevu sa kojim je održala mnogobrojne koncerte kako u Sarajevu tako u Ljubljani, Rijeci, Zagrebu, Banjoj Luci i dr. Koncertnim aktivnostima i višegodišnjim kvalitetom i rezultatima rada , uz namjensku medijsku potporu, direktno učestvuje i obezbjeđuje instrument za otvaranje prvog odsjeka u srednjoj školi za harmoniku u BiH ( Tuzla), te na Muzičkoj Akademiji Univerziteta u Sarajevu. U pedagoškom radu sa učenicima na takmičenjima svih nivoa, ostvaruje preko 80 prvih nagrada, značajan broj drugih nagrada, nekoliko trećih, te titula laureata u kategoriji solo harmonika i kamerna muzika u Puli, Sarajevu, Istočnom Sarajevu „Akoredeon Art“, Bijeljina„Primavera“ i dr. Organizuje rad orkestra klasične harmonike u Srednjoj muzičkoj školi u Sarajevu sa kojim održava preko 75 koncerata kako u regionu tako i u Njemačkoj, Češkoj ( Prag) , Sloveniji, te za diplomatski kor u Sarajevu. Aktivno svira sa učenicima u sastavu kvinteta harmonika sa kojim održava mnoštvo koncerata kako u Sarajevu tako i u Dubrovniku, Pragu, Tuzli, Puli, Ugljevik-„ Dani harmonike“, i dr. Sa orkestrom harmonika diriguje koncertni recital iznenađenja za Papa Franju. Od 2014 do 2018, obavljala poslove direktorice Srednje muzičke škole u Sarajevu. Melita Čičić (1965, Teslić) was educated in the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. She graduated from three departments at Music Academy in Sarajevo and acquired the professional title of Professor of Accordion, Professor of Theoretical and Pedagogical Music Subjects and Academic Musician-Conductor. During her education, she continuously participated in ex-Republic, Yugoslav and International competitions, at which she won special awards and laureate awards, too. As a soloist, she took part in numerous concerts throughout the former Yugoslavia, but the most important were those held in Zagreb (Lisinski Hall), Ljubljana and Berlin. She recorded for RTV Zagreb and RTV BiH. She is the author of a collection of children’s songs „Razbibriga“, as well as an album of popular music. She has orchestrated more than 35 compositions for the classical accordion orchestra. She arranged and recorded music for the accordion of the theater play „La Strada“, whose author is professor Ivan Čavlović. She conducted three concerts with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of Musich High School in Sarajevo in Tuzla and Sarajevo. She orchestrated compositions for joint performance by the accordion orchestra and symphony orchestra not only in Sarajevo, but in Ljubljana, Rijeka, Zagreb, Banja Luka and other towns, too. Through concert activities and many years of quality results, as well as with media support, she directly participated in providing instruments for the opening of the first department at the High School for Accordion in BiH (Tuzla), and the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo. When talking about pedagogical work with students, she took part in many competitions at all levels, and thus she achieved over 80 first prizes, several third prizes, and a significant number of other prizes, as well as the title of laureate in the category of solo accordion and chamber music in Pula, Sarajevo, East Sarajevo ( „Akoredeon Art“) and Bijeljina („Primavera“). She organizes the work of the classical accordion orchestra at Music High School in Sarajevo, with which she has held over 75 concerts not only in the region but in Germany, the Czech Republic (Prague) and Slovenia, too. She often organizes concerts for the diplomatic choir in Sarajevo. She actively plays with students in the accordion quintet and holds concerts in Sarajevo, but in Dubrovnik, Prague, Tuzla, Pula, Ugljevik – „Accordion Days“, etc., too. With the accordion orchestra, she conducted a surprise recital for Pope Francis. From 2014 to 2018, she was the principal of Music High School in Sarajevo. She received “The Order of Honor“ from the Republic of Austria in 2019.
