Szergej Krickij (Mađarska / Hungary)

Szergej Krickij was born in Uzhgorod, Ukraine. He studied how to play the accordion at the Béla Bartók School of Arts in Beregovo (class of Svetlana Smigirilova), then in Dezső Zádor Music College, Uzhgorod (class of Vladimir Stegnej). After that he continued his studies at the S.S.Prokofiev State Music Academy, Donetsk, in the class of Prof. Viacheslav Vojevodin, where he graduated in 2005 and was awarded his DLA degree in 2008. He is a laureate in national and international competitions. He gave performances in Ukraine, Hungary, Switzerland and the USA. He organized and took part in organizing of concerts and masterclasses, summer accordion courses and many others. He taught at the S.S. Prokofiev State Music Academy (2005-2008), Donetsk Cultural College (2008-2010), Dezső Zádor Music College (Uzhgorod, 2010-2015), Kiev National University of Culture and Art (Uzhgorod Branch, 2011-2015). He has been living in Hungary since 2015. He is a board member of the ‘Az Ifjú Harminkásokért Alapítvány’ (Foundation for the Young Accordionists), which is the member of the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIAungary). Currently he is teaching at the Weiner Leó Music School and College, Budapest.
