Ensemble of virtuosos „AKKO Quartet“

The quartet was founded in 2016 on the initiative of the „Creative tandem of Shiyan & Molochenko“. The repertoire of the ensemble basically includes music of baroque, classical and modern academic music. The quartet is well known for its unusual stylistics and the level of artistic expression. The technically impeccable mastery of the musicians, combined with emotional feeling, is the special feature of the group. The ensemble performs on unique instruments: bayan-oboe, bayan-clarinet, bayan-bassoon, bayan-tuba and concertino, which were made at the most famous factories of the world. Musicians of the quartet individually became the winners of the most prestigious international competitions, such as: „Vogtland Music Days“ (Klingenthal, Germany), „Citta di Castelfidardo“ (Italy), „AccoHolliday“, „Perpetuum mobile“ (Ukraine) and others. In 2019, at the “Trophee Mondiale ”(Portugal) , AKKO Quartet won the 1st prize. In 2021, at the „Citta di Castelfidardo“ (Italy), AKKO Quartet won the 1st prize. The quartet’s concerts are always held in a sublime and creative atmosphere, leaving no one indifferent, even the most demanding listener.
